So I was playing cards with my mom today, when suddenly she started humming "God Bless America!" I didn't even think she knew that song. Well, God may have blessed America (that part's questionable, at the moment), but He certainly did not bless my mother during the card game because she lost. I don't often win so I'm taking the time to gloat.
I feel like I have to have a post about Harry Potter even though I haven't actually read it. And, apparently, I won't be reading it until I find out what happens in the next book. I made the mistake of reading the (correct) spoilers for book 6, and it looks like things are not looking so good in Potter-land, so I hope things look up in the future. I'm one of those people who like to read the ending of books first, or in this case, the end of the series, just to make sure my favorite characters don't have too many horrible things happen to them.
And some cute baby pandas. They're actually more pink-mouse like than panda like, but I have hopes that they will look more like pandas in the future. At the moment, they're very small and don't seem to have eyes.

I also like to read the end of books. It doesn't spoil it for me at all. I like to see how they get to that ending.
In other news, there is this creepy little bat (my big fear!) that's been hanging off my air conditioner unit outside my apartment for two days now. I am getting kind of freaked out.

Whenever I see baby animal pics I regress to being 3 years old and wanting said animal. So right now, I really want a baby panda. Or two.
And yay I'm not the only one who reads the end first! Most of the time I finish the book regardless of the ending.
